Ian Rodger could be said to have seen it all and done it all in Knockout terms: he represented three teams in the domestic tournaments, all of whom qualified for the European heats of Jeux Sans Frontières, and was a member of the all-conquering Ely team that took the International Trophy in 1973.

Ian represented Cheltenham Spa in 1968, Tewkesbury in 1971 and Ely in 1973. The following pages contain his memories his time participating in It's A Knockout, illustrated with photographs from his own collection. JSFnetUK owes Ian a great debt of thanks, for his writing of the article, for his continued good humour in the face of our asking for "just one more paragraph", or "just one more photo" far too many times and for freely sharing his memories with visitors to this site. Many thanks, Ian!
