BEST OF KNOCKOUT

BBC1 Transmission: Thursday 30th December 1982, 6.00-6.50pm
Programme Number: NMRK216L

Notes:

A retrospective produced to mark the end of It's A Knockout and Jeux Sans Frontičres. This was a last minute replacement for the IAK Christmas special, Trio, which had to be ditched due to technical problems. For this reason, it is a hurriedly re-edited version of 1979's Look Back and Laugh - The Best of It's A Knockout. New sequences were added with Stuart Hall giving a brief tour of BBC Manchester's props store, where many of the IAK costumes and props were kept. In this location, Hall recorded new links to replace those from Look Back and Laugh, which he had co-presented with Eddie Waring (who had of course left the series in 1981).

Presenter: Stuart Hall
Videotape Editors:
John Sillitto, Rob McKie, Phil Warren, Les Matthews, John Rothwell
Television Presentation: Alan Wright and Alan Walsh
